Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he thinks Chelsea and Tottenham will play out a draw at Stamford Bridge this evening.
Chelsea head into the game having thrashed Bournemouth 4-1 at the Vitality Stadium last weekend, with Eden Hazard scoring his first goals of the Premier League season with a brace.
The Belgian ace, 25, hit 14 Premier League goals last season as he fired Chelsea to the Premier League title, but this term has been disastrous for Hazard, and for the Blues as a whole.
Guus Hiddink has steadied the ship after Chelsea struggled under Jose Mourinho, and whilst they lie in mid-table with little to play for, they can give the fans something to really shout about this evening - beating Tottenham and ending their title hopes.
Spurs only drew 1-1 at home to West Bromwich Albion a week ago, and after Leicester drew with Manchester United on Sunday, anything less than a win at Stamford Bridge will bring an end to Tottenham's slim hopes of winning the Premier League title.
Of course, Chelsea would love to be the team to do just that given the rivalry between the two clubs, and former Spurs midfielder and current pundit Jamie Redknapp has offered his prediction on the game.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Redknapp admitted that he thinks the game will end up in a draw, believing that both teams will attack in an entertaining encounter in West London.
"The fans don't like each other and there's a lot of history between the two sides," said Redknapp. "Chelsea had a big result against Bournemouth last week, and it was important that they got some key players back - Hazard is obviously an important one, and is the sort of player that Tottenham fans and Tottenham played won't want to see on the opposing team.
"I'm going to go for a draw, I think this has got the makings of a draw. I can see both sides attacking and I can see a draw in this game," he added.
