Leicester City are quite incredibly, Premier League champions.
The Foxes clinched the title without playing, as Tottenham drew 2-2 against Chelsea, giving away a two goal lead.
Leicester drew against Manchester United a day earlier to extend their lead at the top of the table, and they now sit seven points clear with two games to go, and cannot be caught.
Former striker Gary Lineker expressed his amazement at the achievement, commenting on Twitter.
Leicester City have won the Premier League. The biggest sporting shock of my lifetime, and it's only my team.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) May 2, 2016
Leicester's surprise achievement is unlike anything seen in the Premier League era, coming into the season as favourites for relegation, going on to win the title.
New boss Claudio Ranieri was doubted, while star players Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez went on to win player of the year awards.
Last season's victors Chelsea barely mounted a challenge at all, but came back to play a crucial role in the title race at a vital moment.
Now is the time for Leicester to soak it up, and revel in being called.. Premier League champions.
