Bolasie reacts on Twitter to Crystal Palace defeat to Newcastle

Crystal Palace lost against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

Palace failed to return to winning ways in the Premier League, as they went down 1-0 to Newcastle away from home at St. James' Park.

Andros Townsend, who joined the Magpies from North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, scored the only goal of the match just before the hour mark.

Bolasie has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at Palace’s defeat to Newcastle.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Newcastle had 50% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners.

Visitors Palace had 50% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned eight corners.

Bolasie, who played for the entire 90 minutes, took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 65%, put in five crosses, attempted seven dribbles, and made one interception, one clearance and two blocks.
