Rangers fans react on Twitter to Ronny Deila's 10-in-a-row comments

Rangers fans mock Celtic boss Ronny Deila over suggestions that the Hoops could win the next five Scottish Premiership titles.

Outgoing Celtic boss Ronny Deila took the brave decision to claim that the Hoops could win another five Scottish Premiership titles on the bounce recently.

Deila's troops beat Hearts 3-1 at Tynecastle on Saturday afternoon to all but seal their fifth successive crown, leaving them nine points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.

Rangers' absence since 2012 has certainly helped the Bhoys dominate Scotland's top flight, but with the Gers - who beat them in a Scottish Cup semi-final last month - set for a Premiership return, it's been touted that the division will be a lot tighter next term.

If and when they do win it this season, it will be a parting gift from Deila who will leave the club this summer, but the Norwegian, quoted by The Scottish Sun, said on Friday that five more could follow over the next five years.

He said: "Five-in-a-row is fantastic and it’s something to build on. Hopefully tomorrow we can start and the club can get 10-in-a-row."

Given Celtic's occasional labours this season, Rangers fans got a good laugh out of the 40-year-old's comments, as a number of them took to Twitter to offer their opinions.
