Outstanding, underrated; West Ham fans react on Twitter to Cheikhou Kouyate's performance

Ramires Kick - Chelsea v West Ham

West Ham beat West Brom 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United made it two wins in a row with a thumping 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers beat Watford 3-1 last time out, and again found the net three times with a convincing win over Tony Pulis' Baggies, temporarily taking them up to fifth place before Manchester United's draw with Leicester City.

Cheikhou Kouyate opened the scoring with a well-placed header from a Dimitri Payet cross, and and captain Mark Noble added a second just before the break to make it 2-0.

Noble scored again - his fourth in two games - after the break to seal the win, and whilst the Hammers skipper grabbed most of the headlines, fellow midfielder Kouyate also impressed.

The Senegal international, 26, grabbed his fifth goal of the season and starred yet again with another fine box-to-box display, with his incredible athleticism on show in the middle of the park.

After the game, West Ham fans took to Twitter to discuss Kouyate's performance, calling his display 'outstanding' alongside Noble in the heart of midfield.

Supporters also believe Kouyate is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League, and think he deserves much more recognition than he is getting after another fine performance.

Here are some of the reactions from West Ham fans on Twitter after Kouyate's performance against West Brom on Saturday...
