The big Belgian admits that he loves when they sing his name.
The 28-year-old has been truly exceptional in the Lilywhites' midfield this season, establishing himself as a vital cog in the well-oiled machine that Tottenham have been in a campaign which has seen them flirt with the Premier League title.
His improvement has not gone unnoticed by Tottenham fans, thousands of whom now sing his name on a regular basis, and the Belgian midfielder says he appreciates the gesture.
“It’s amazing. This season the supporters have embraced me even more and when they sing, it makes me feel very proud," he said to the official website.
"During the game I’m so concentrated but when they all sing my name, you know what, I can’t ignore that.”
Indeed, it's been a wonderful season for Dembele and his club, but their title dream will go up in smoke this afternoon if Leicester City beat Manchester United.
The Foxes sit seven points ahead of Mauricio Pochettino's men in second. In fact, even if City lose at Old Trafford, the title will still be gone if Chelsea beat Spurs at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
Nevertheless, it has still been an excellent campaign whatever happens this afternoon and tomorrow.
