The Premier League title race could be over before Monday's game at Stamford Bridge.
Kyle Walker has insisted that Tottenham have been fired up by some of the Chelsea players openly stating that they want to be the ones that officially end Mauricio Pochettino's side's Premier League title hopes, the Mirror reports.
Spurs will be hoping that they travel to Stamford Bridge still with a chance of catching Leicester City at the top of the table. And the Blues appear to be hoping that that is the case also, as the Mirror reports that the club are hoping to dash their title dreams.
But Walker has suggested that the thought of giving Guus Hiddink's side that kind of satisfaction will be motivating the team to go and get a win.
"That is a compliment, in a way. It gets you fired up and you want to go to prove them wrong. They've got a point to prove, it is a local derby," he told the Mirror.
With Leicester needing just three more points to confirm the league crown, the race could be done and dusted before Spurs even take to the field on Monday as the Foxes face Manchester United at Old Trafford the day before.
But should Claudio Ranieri's men drop points against the Red Devils, the door will be left slightly open for Pochettino's side. And while a point at Chelsea would still be enough to keep the race alive if Leicester lose, Tottenham will be desperate to eat into as much of the gap as possible to remind the leaders that they are still hanging in there.
