Gary Lineker shares what Ranieri told him after Leicester draw

Leicester edged towards the Premier League title with a draw against Manchester United.

Former Leicester City star Gary Lineker has revealed he had a chat with current club boss Claudio Ranieri after their draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Leicester needed to win the game to clinch the Premier League title, but could only manage a 1-1 draw.

They are still in a strong position to win the league, and will do so if Spurs fail to beat Chelsea on Monday night football.

Lineker has pledged to present the BBC's flagship football programme Match of the Day in his underwear if Leicester win the league, a gamble he made much earlier in the season when bookies considered it a long shot.

Ranieri apparently told Lineker he is not looking forward to seeing this happen, even if he will be savouring a Leicester title win at the time.

If Spurs cannot beat Chelsea on Monday then Leicester will be crowned champions, and whether Ranieri likes it or not, Lineker will be getting ready for a change of outfit for next weekend's Match of the Day, providing BBC bosses agree to it.
