Carl Ikeme and Danny Batth send messages to Wolves fans on Twitter

Wolverhampton Wanderers played out a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Saturday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the fans for their support against Nottingham Forest.

The Wanderers played out a 1-1 draw with Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Joe Mason put Wolves ahead with a curled left-footed effort from outside the box, which went in off the post, on 58 minutes, and Aston Villa-owned midfielder Gary Gardner equalised for Forest midway through the second half.

Ikeme has taken to Twitter to thank the Wolves fans for their support against Forest and throughout the season, and defender Batth has a similar message for the club’s supporters on the social networking site.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon, visitors Wolves had 43% of the possession, took 11 shots of which only two were on target, and earned seven corners.

Kenny Jackett’s side are 14th in the Championship table at the moment with 55 points from 45 matches.
