Norwich City boss Alex Neil predicts Arsenal’s top four success

Arsenal host Norwich City this weekend.

Norwich City boss Alex Neil feels the Arsenal supporters seem a bit restless at present but backs his upcoming opponents to finish in the top four, he told the club’s official website.

The Gunners have endured a poor 2016, conceding top spot in the Premier League and crashing out of both the Champions League and in particular the FA Cup in disappointing fashion.

Five wins in their last 15 league games has seen Arsenal drop from top spot to fourth in the table, with Manchester United now only five points adrift with a game in hand over the North London club.

A defeat in either of their last three matches could give United the chance to overtake them, yet Alex Neil feels they will have enough to finish in the top four as he assesses his side’s chances at the Emirates.

“They (Arsenal) seem to be a team where at this moment in time, their fans seem a bit restless. I think they'll manage to secure a place in the top four again, but we've just got to focus on us,” Neil explained to the club’s official website.

"Certainly in the Man Utd game, we went there and carried out a really good gameplan. We're hoping we can play as well and they won't lack belief. ”

While Arsenal are looking to cement their place in the top four, at the other end Norwich are battling to preserve their Premier League survival as they currently occupy 18th spot in the table.

The Canaries are behind Sunderland on goal difference, and with four games remaining they will be scrapping for every point possible as they bid to beat the drop.

It makes for an interesting encounter at the Emirates Stadium, and Norwich’s need for points could help Arsenal as they may find themselves up against an opponent more willing to attack.
