Stan Collymore urges Aston Villa to release Charles N’Zogbia

Charles N’Zogbia use of social media site Twitter has annoyed Aston Villa fans.

Stan Collymore has urged Aston Villa to release Charles N’Zogbia, after the French winger’s latest social media misdemeanour.

N’Zogbia was criticised by former Villa player Shaun Teale yesterday evening, and he responded by posting saying: “Who have you impressed? #IDontEvenKnowUrName.”

Collymore has been left seething with the remark, and he has suggested that Villa simply pay N’Zogbia’s contract off to get him off their books.

Teale made 147 appearances for Villa during his playing career, between the years of 1991 and 1995.

After leaving the Claret and Blues he went on to represent the likes of Tranmere, Motherwell and Carlisle.

This latest incident is the next in a long-list of social media faux-pas that Villa players have made this season.

Joleon Lescott and Leandro Bacuna have already caused frustration through their usage of Twitter and Instagram throughout the campaign.

N’Zogbia has made 89 appearances for Villa to date, and he has scored five times.
