Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has verbally agreed a new contract which will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2021.
The Argentine boss has confirmed that he has agreed a deal which will keep him at Spurs until 2021, and all that is left to do now is complete the paperwork.
Pochettino’s commitment is a major boost for Tottenham, and Owen has praised the Lilywhites for tying down their in-demand manager.

Pochettino has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and PSG recently, while even Real Madrid and Barcelona have been touted as possible clubs for the 44-year-old to manage in the future.
His commitment to Tottenham is huge news, though, as the North London side have already made vast strides under his stewardship.
Spurs were a team on the slide when Pochettino took over back in 2014, but in the space of two years he has totally transformed their squad.
Tottenham have manage to come close to winning the Premier League title this season, with the youngest squad in England’s top flight.
Spurs are currently in second place in the Premier League table, and they look certain to be playing in the Champions League next year.
