The 21-year-old winger has been linked with Leeds in the past.
The Belgian ace was linked a £1.5 million switch to Elland Road back in August (The Yorkshire Evening Post) but a move never materialised.
But with another summer transfer window looming, speculation has resurfaced in recent days as reports from Dutch media (De Gelderlander) indicate that the Eredivisie club are bracing themselves for some interest in a number of their players.
The 21-year-old's representative, Christian Negouai, admitted that he could join an English club, but stopped short of saying which outfits were potentially interested.
“A very good player like Anthony certainly interests English clubs, so he could leave for England, just like he is of interest to clubs of other leagues, where he could end up too,” he told Sports Witness.
Limbombe might well wait until there is slightly more stability at Leeds - if they are indeed interested - before making a decision. At the moment, it remains to be seen if Steve Evans will see his contract extended.
He certainly should be, given that his remit was to avoid relegation after replacing Uwe Rosler in October and Leeds sit 12th, 21 points clear of the drop zone, but owner Massimo Cellino has a reputation for a certain ruthlessness when it comes to managers.
Limbombe, whose contract expires next summer according to Transfermarkt, has netted seven goals in 30 Eredivisie appearances this season.
