Reports suggest Lazio could make a move for the striker before Euro 2016.

Lazio are reportedly keen to bring Southampton's Italian striker Graziano Pelle to the Stadio Olimpico.

The Serie A giants are seemingly on the lookout for a replacement for German veteran Miroslav Klose, with the 37-year-old allegedly poised to leave the club in the summer.

According to the Daily Mirror, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is an admirer of Pelle, who has netted 13 goals for the Saints so far this season.

That impressive form has been replicated for Italy, with Pelle scoring in games against Malta and Norway towards the end of last year, bringing him in contention for a starring role at the upcoming European Championships in France.

Lazio are apparently keen to tie up a deal for the forward before this summer's tournament, amid fears that a good Euro 2016 could attract the attention of other clubs.

And reports suggest the Roman outfit are not the only Serie A club to have taken an interest in Pelle, with AC Milan also rumoured to be considering a deal after deciding to send Mario Balotelli back to Liverpool following an unsuccessful loan spell at the San Siro.
