West Ham youngster Nathan Mavila seems set to depart the club, after going on trial with Italian side Perugia.
Perugia24.net report that Mavila joined up with the squad earlier this week, and is training with the first team in a bid to earn a deal.
The 20-year-old's contract with West Ham expires at the end of June, and it appears he will be released.
The prospect has been on loan at non-league Wealdstone since March, and spent a spell with Aldershot earlier in the season.
In between he racked up 21 appearances for West Ham's under-21 side, scoring once.
Earlier in the season he was named on the bench in the club's Europa League game against Astra Giurgiu, although did not feature.
Mavila plays at left-back, and as Perugia24.net report, it is a position the side are looking to fill.
Perugia currently sit 11th of 22 teams in Italy's Serie B.
West Ham signed Mavila at 16, snapping him up from Wycombe Wanderers' academy.
