HITC Sport understands Football League clubs eye non-league star Birch.
A host of Football League clubs are tracking Hereford FC midfielder Aaron Birch, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Birch has been earning rave reviews for Hereford FC this season, helping the phoenix club created following the demise of Hereford United in 2014 win promotion from the Midland Football League at the first attempt.
Birch came through the ranks at the West Bromwich Albion academy and was a regular in the Under-18s and Under-21s side, but he failed to make the breakthrough into the first-team at The Hawthorns.
The 21-year-old was released by West Brom last summer and he linked up with Hereford FC last August as he looked to get his career back on track.
Birch has been instrumental in Hereford FC's success in winning the league and reaching the FA Vase final at Wembley next month.
The central midfielder's performances this season have not gone unnoticed higher up the football pyramid with scouts from the Football League scouring the non-league scene as they try to find the next Jamie Vardy.
The likes of Bristol City and Swindon Town have been alerted to Birch and they are keeping tabs on the midfielder ahead of next season with Hereford FC bracing themselves for offers for the midfielder.
