Nasser El Khayati has told Queens Park Rangers’ official site that he has already seen big changes at Loftus Road.
El Khayati was brought to QPR from Burton Albion during the January transfer window, meaning he has only been with the London club for just over four months.
However, the Dutch winger has already been encouraged by the progress that Rangers have made during his time there.
“I have been here for more than two months now and have already seen a big change in the time I have been at the club,” he said.
“We have all really come together, and week by week we are becoming more of a team, and building relationships together. That is what it is all about, and this can really benefit us for next season.”
El Khayati has been used sparingly by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink so far, with most his appearances coming as a substitute.
The 27-year-old has played 14 times for Rangers in the Championship to date, but he has only started two of these matches.
El Khayati will be hoping to play a more prominent role next season, when QPR have a more streamlined squad, but he is still aiming to impress before the end of the campaign.
QPR take on Burnley on Monday evening in their next match, and they are looking to cause an upset.
“We want to win at Burnley,” El Khayati said. “It doesn’t matter for me about the opponents. We know they need to win to get promoted, but we will try to get the three points for us.”
QPR are currently in 13th place in the Championship table, having collected 57 points from their 44 matches to date.
