The Rangers winger is enjoying a superb season and will only get better with time.
The 21-year-old was recently crowned Young Player of the Year after a season that has seen him score nine goals and provide 12 assists in 46 appearances to date.
His last goal-scoring appearance came in the Scottish Cup semi-final clash with fierce rivals Celtic earlier this month, and in a question-and-answer session Henderson did not hold back when describing the wide-man’s showing on that day.
When asked what advice he would give the Rangers youngster, Henderson said, “Just work hard at his game – keep going. The Celtic game was the best I have seen him play. He has set a standard.”
He certainly has, and Rangers fans will no doubt be excited to see how he develops next season and beyond, with Mark Warburton’s side gearing up for their return to the Scottish Premiership.
While Celtic will be desperate for revenge, in McKay Rangers have a player who could go on to become a club legend, scoring plenty more goals against the Bhoys before he ultimately hangs up his boots.
