West Ham fans on Twitter are undecided over Reece Burke future

The on-loan Hammer won more awards than he could carry at Bradford City's end of season awards ceremony.

Reece Burke barely had a minute to sit down at Bradford City's end of season awards bash.

The on-loan West Ham United defender cleaned up, claiming six gongs all to himself - comprising four separate player of the years, one young player of the year and a most consistent player of the year.

Things could get even better for the 19-year-old, with the League One play-offs to come for the Bantams - barring a spectacular collapse.

But despite a fine season in the third tier, West Ham fans are struggling to decide what to do with Burke next time around.

Some feel he should continue his development in the lower leagues, while others are hoping he can impact on Slaven Bilic's first team immediately.

Burke began the campaign in the Hammers' first team, appearing in three Europa League qualifiers. However, the subsequent signing of Angelo Ogbonna from Juventus budged him down the pecking order.

Should the England Under-20 international return to his parent club this summer, he would have to battle the Italian, James Tomkins, Winston Reid, James Collins and Reece Oxford for a spot next season.
