It's set to be a another busy summer at Hillsborough, regardless of what division the Owls are in.
Whether they're in the Premier League or plotting to get there, another summer of change awaits Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls have three first team players out of contract, with six loanees returning to their parent clubs as things stand.
However, Carlos Carvalhal's numbers could be boosted by the returns of four exiles at the end of their temporary spells at other clubs.
Out of contract: Lewis Price, Jose Semedo, Caolan Lavery
Expiring loan deals: Michael Turner, Vincent Sasso, Joe Bennett, Daniel Pudil, Alex Lopez, Aiden McGeady
Loan returns: Marnick Vermijl, Daryl Lachman, Claude Dielna, Sergiu Bus
Goalkeepers: Keiren Westwood, Joe Wildsmith.
Defenders: Jack Hunt, Liam Palmer, Glenn Loovens, Tom Lees, Jeremy Helan, Marnick Vermijl, Daryl Lachman, Claude Dielna
Midfielders: Sam Hutchinson, Kieran Lee, Barry Bannan, Lewis McGugan, Filipe Melo, Marco Matias, Ross Wallace, Modou Sougou
Forwards: Gary Hooper, Lucas Joao, Fernando Forestieri, Atdhe Nuhiu, Sergiu Bus
Areas in need of attention?
Left- and centre-back are Wednesday's two most bare areas at present, assuming Lachman and Dielna are shown the door for good. A defensive-minded midfielder to replace Lopez (who could still return) and Semedo may be sought, though much will depend on how highly Carvalhal rates Melo. Another winger and striker are likely to feature on the Portuguese's shopping list, with the futures of Sougou and Bus uncertain.
