Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that David Moyes wants to make a return to Goodison Park.
According to a recent report in The Sun, Moyes wants to take charge of his former club Everton if Roberto Martinez is sacked at the end of the season.
Martinez has come under pressure due to the Toffees’ disappointing results and performances in the Premier League this season.
The Merseyside outfit were expected by many to push for a top-six finish in the league table this campaign, but they may not even end up in top 10.
Moyes was in charge of Everton from 2002 until the end of the 2012-13 season, and made them an established Premier League club.
Since leaving the Blues in the summer of 2013, the Scotsman has failed to achieve success in his managerial career, getting sacked first at Manchester United and then at Spanish side Real Socieded.
Everton fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the speculation that Moyes wants to return to the Blues.

I'd have Moyes back at Everton in a heart beat if Martinez is sacked! If he can keep the squad together he could get them winning big! #efc— Dan (@1978dmc) April 26, 2016
Going backwards to David Moyes would be an act of a desperate old chairman clinging on to the past. High time #EFC moved onwards & upwards.— Neil (@deneils) April 26, 2016
