Twitter reacts to Darren Fletcher's performance for West Brom

Darren Fletcher starred as West Brom claimed a draw against Spurs.

Darren Fletcher helped West Brom to a draw over Tottenham, keeping up a remarkable personal record in the process.

The Scotland international has never been on the losing side against Spurs during his career, and ensured that record remained intact.

The Baggies came back from a goal down to claim a draw at White Hart Lane, puncturing Tottenham's title chances in the process.

Fletcher, 32, played all 90 minutes in the draw, and provided the assist for Craig Gardner's equaliser, as the 29-year-old atoned for his earlier own goal by heading in the Scotsman's corner.

The midfielder won two tackles and made three interceptions, outperforming midfield partner Claudio Yacob on both counts.

Against a young and dynamic Spurs midfield this could easily have been a game which passed Fletcher by, and it says everything about his talent and commitment that he held his own.

Here is a look at how Twitter reacted to his display...
