Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane yesterday.

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have slated Ryan Mason on Twitter, after his cameo appearance for them against West Bromwich Albion yesterday evening.

Mason came on to replace Eric Dier for the final stages of the contest, immediately after the Baggies struck an equaliser.

With the score locked at 1-1, Spurs were looking for some inspiration, but Mason failed to provide them with any spark.

The 24-year-old did not impress during his time on the pitch, as Spurs limped to a draw with Tony Pulis’ side.

Tottenham’s title hopes now appear to be over, as they are seven points behind Leicester City with just three games remaining.

While Spurs have unquestionably had a wonderful season, there was still a great amount of frustration evident on social media site Twitter after the match.

And it was Mason who took the brunt of Tottenham fans’ criticism, with many suggesting that he simply isn’t good enough to be playing for them.

Tottenham's remaining three games this season come against Chelsea, Southampton and Newcastle United.
