The NEC Nijmegen star has apparently agreed to join a different team.
Yesterday it was reported that Leeds United were set to make a move for Anthony Limbombe once again.
The report, from De Gerlander, suggested that Leeds would be in for him this summer – after initially making a move for the player last summer.
Leeds failed to meet his asking price last summer when trying to bring him in from NEC Nijmegen. Instead they made a move for Jordan Botaka of Excelsior.
But it seemed that Leeds were ready to consider making another move to bring him in.
However, that does not seem the case considering the recent updates on the matter.
The Yorkshire Evening Post is quoting sources in Holland as suggesting that Limbombe has now agreed a move to another unnamed club – and will definitely not be on his way to Leeds United in the summer.
The Belgian former youth international, who is contracted at NEC until the summer of 2017, is seemingly ready to make a move away from the club and that Leeds will not be his destination.
The Yorkshire club are still likely to make a move for a winger in the summer but it looks as though the 21-year-old will not be that man.
