Everton are reportedly interested in signing Besiktas goalkeeper Denys Boyko in the summer transfer window.

Everton are interested in signing Denys Boyko from Besiktas in the summer transfer window, according to Fotospor.com.

The Ukraine international goalkeeper joined Turkish giants Besiktas in the January transfer window and has a contract until June 2020.

It has been reported by Fotospor.com that Everton want to recruit Boyko as a replacement for USA international goalkeeper Tim Howard, who will leave the Merseyside outfit at the end of the season.

According to the report, the Premier League side would have to pay a transfer fee of €4 million (£3.1m) to secure the services of the former Dynamo Kyiv and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk goalkeeper.

The 28-year-old has struggled to break into the Besiktas first team since his move in the January transfer window, managing to make just two appearances for Senol Gunes’s side.

Besiktas are at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table at the moment with 70 points from 30 matches, six points clear of second-placed Fenerbahce, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Everton currently find themselves 11th in the Premier League table with 41 points from 34 matches.
