Arsenal are interested in signing Chelsea strike sensation Dominic Solanke, report The Sun.
Solanke has been prolific at youth level for the Blues, and was the top scorer as England won the under-17 European Championships two summers ago.
He was handed a debut by Jose Mourinho in the Champions League last season, and has been on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem this year, where he has bagged seven Eredivisie goals.
Now 18, Solanke's contract is set to expire in 2017, and talks have stalled over a new deal, with The Sun claiming he wants a staggering £50,000 per week.
Arsenal's interest could force Chelsea's hand to increase their offer, knowing he could leave and join their rivals on a free transfer in a year's time.
Solanke scored 31 goals in 33 youth team games for Chelsea last season, scoring 13 for the under-21s, 12 in nine UEFA Youth League games at under-19 level, and six in six FA Youth Cup games, under-18 level.
