The Toffees have badly disappointed their supporters, with their Premier League form a particular area of frustration.
Everton are currently sat in 11th place in the Premier League table, and it is widely accepted that this position does not reflect the quality that Roberto Martinez’s has available to him.
Everton have also been devastatingly beaten in the semi-finals of both the League Cup and the FA this term.
And Jagielka said: "People are quick to point out our negative stuff and we accept it. We're not in the place we should be in the league.
"It's been a frustrating season for the players, manager and coaching staff.”
Everton’s latest defeat came against Manchester United at Wembley, with a late Anthony Martial goal knocking them out of the competition.
The Toffees now have very little left to play for, with just four games remaining in their season.
The criticism of the team is only getting louder, and Martinez is the man who is having to take the brunt of it.
A large amount of Everton fans are calling for Martinez to be sacked, with many feeling that the club needs a change of direction, but as yet no decision has been made on the Spaniard’s future.
