Ian Taylor shares an emotional message about Aston Villa

Trinity Road Stand - Aston Villa

Aston Villa have already been relegated to the Championship.

Ian Taylor has taken to social media to express his disappointment at the current situation at his former club Aston Villa.

Villa have been relegated from the Premier League and will play in the Championship next season.

The Villans have already revealed that there will be several job cuts due to the club’s relegation to the second tier of English football..

Villa are one of the biggest clubs in England, but their current situation is dire. Things are looking bleak for the Villans, and former midfielder Taylor has taken to Twitter and Instagram to express his sorrow.

All is not lost for Villa, though, as a proper restructuring of the club in the coming months could make things better.

First and foremost, the Villans need to appoint a manager who knows the Championship inside out.

That manager should then be given complete control - or as much control as possible - over the signing of players.

It is going to be tough for Villa to finish in the top six of the Championship next season, but if they get the basics right in the summer, then they will give themselves a good chance of getting promoted back to the Premier League at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
