Angry Tottenham legend rips into Chelsea duo on Twitter

Graham Roberts has had his say on Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard after their recent comments about Tottenham.

Former Tottenham Hotspur ace Graham Roberts has laid into Chelsea duo Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard on Twitter after their recent comments about the North London club.

Both Fabregas and Hazard had publicly stated over the past week they did not want Spurs to win the Premier League, with the latter discussing how he is looking forward to the two teams meeting next week.

Roberts believe both players' comments are uncalled for, especially given they way they have performed this season, failing to live up to expectations and mounted a weak defence of the title.

While not checking either Chelsea ace by name, given their recent comments it is obvious who he is referring to in a series of tweets.

Roberts, 56, played for both teams, spending six years at Spurs between 1980 and 1986, and played for Chelsea between 1988 and 1990, with a spell at Glasgow Rangers in between.

Chelsea host Spurs next Monday at Stamford Bridge, a fixture they won comprehensively last season, but if Leicester beat Manchester United at the weekend, the title race will already be over.
