Leicester City avoided a potential banana skin in the race for the Premier League title, comfortably beating Swansea City at home.
The Foxes dropped points in their previous home game against West Ham, which led to their lead at the top of the table being reduced to five.
Swansea had beaten Chelsea a fortnight ago, but offered little at the King Power Stadium, even with two ex Tottenham players in their team, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Routledge, and one on the bench, Kyle Naughton.
Sigurdsson was viewed by many Tottenham fans as unfortunate in the way his career at the club panned out, marginalised by the arrival of Christian Eriksen.
It was Sigurdsson who scored the winner against Chelsea a fortnight back, but he was ineffective against Leicester despite his best efforts.
He was done little favour by being picked in an unusual position, played as a striker, rather than in an attacking midfield role.
The absence of a regular striker also meant his usually dangerous free-kicks were limited as he was deprived of a target.
He lasted 75 minutes with his only two shots at goal failing to test Kasper Schmeichel, unable to do his former club Tottenham a favour.
Here is a look at how Spurs fans reacted on Twitter to his performance, with a mixture of hope, disappointment, and admiration for his effort...
