Stuart Dallas has made 43 appearances for Leeds United so far this season.
Stuart Dallas has told Northern Ireland’s official Twitter account that it is still an incredible feeling to walk out at Elland Road as a Leeds United player.
Dallas moved to Leeds from Brentford last summer, and he still loves representing the Whites at their home ground.
The Northern Ireland winger says that the supporters make it very special, and he has praised them for staying behind their side - despite what has been a difficult season.
“Anyone who has been there will see what it’s like,” Dallas said. “The fans support their team through thick and thin. They’ve been brilliant and walking out at Elland Road is an incredible feeling.”
Dallas has played a key role for Leeds this season, racking up 43 Championship appearances and scoring five times.
The energetic winger has impressed with his work-rate, and his performances have kept him in the Northern Ireland squad.
Dallas is expected to travel to EURO 2016 this summer, but he insists that his full focus remains on impressing at Leeds for the rest of the season.
“I’ve just got to stay fit,” he added. “I can only take one game at a time, that’s Saturday with Leeds. We have to finish the season strongly and I’ve got to be playing on a consistent basis.”
Leeds have just two matches left in their season, and they will be looking to move into the Championship top 10.
The Whites take on Charlton Athletic on Saturday, before facing Preston North End on the final day of the season.
