Aston Villa have been on the look out for a new owner for a considerable period of time.
Richard Keys has taken to Twitter to express his disbelief at Aston Villa not being able to find a new owner.
Current owner Randy Lerner has been looking to sell the Midlands club for a sizeable period of time, but he has been unable to find anyone to take it off his hands.
Villa have one of the largest catchment areas of any English side, and they a sizeable fan base already supporting the club.
And Keys simply cannot explain why Villa have not been able to attract any new buyers.
@lewis59453181 I can't understand why there are no buyers. It's a great club. Huge potential.— Richard Keys (@richardajkeys) April 25, 2016
Lerner is under pressure to sell up quickly, with Villa fans becoming frustrated with a lack of investment in recent seasons.
The Claret and Blues have been going backwards for years now, and this season they have been made to pay for their lack of ambition.
Villa have won just three Premier League matches all season, and they have had to endure a disastrous campaign.
Villa are already making plans to ensure that they bounce straight back from relegation, but mass changes are expected to have to be made over the summer transfer window if they are to be successful next season.
