Manchester United attacker is determined to get all three points against Leicester next week.

Manchester United are determined to beat Leicester City next weekend, Juan Mata has told the club's official website.

The Red Devils are into the FA Cup final after beating Everton in the semi this weekend, but are still competing for a top four place.

Fourth placed Arsenal dropped points at the weekend, increasing United's chances of qualifying for the Champions League, but they will likely need to beat Leicester next Sunday to take full advantage.

Leicester are themselves battling to win the title, needing five points from their final three games against United, Everton, and Chelsea.

Mata is wary of Leicester's threat, but underlined that United are very much pushing for the win themselves for their own reason, believing they were unlucky to only draw 1-1 at the King Power Stadium back in November.

He said: "They are fighting for the title and are full of confidence after the win against Swansea, showing how competitive they have been this season; having said that, we must get those three points.

"The previous game against them left us with a bitter taste and it's time to show that we can defeat them, and to make our fans happy."

United are certainly dangerous opponents for Leicester to face, and with players like Mata competing for a place in the FA Cup final line up, the Red Devils will be even more competitive.

Mata was an unused substitute against Everton at Wembley at the weekend, and he certainly sounds determined that he makes an impact if selected in the crucial fixture next Sunday.
