Lukas Podolski leaves no doubt who he wants to win Premier League title

Former Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski wants Leicester City to win the Premier League title, not Tottenham Hotspur.

Former Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he wants Leicester City to win the Premier League title this season.

The Germany international, who is now at Turkish giants Galatasaray at the moment, does not want Tottenham Hotspur to clinch the title.

The 30-year-old, who was on the books of Arsenal from 2012 until 2015, posted the following message on Twitter right after Leicester’s 4-0 victory over Swansea City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The win against Swansea means that Leicester have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points.

Tottenham are likely to win their league match against West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane on Monday evening, but the advantage will still be the Foxes’.

Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since 2004 and may not even finish in the top four this season.

Tottenham are likely to end up above the Gunners in the league table, and them winning the league title would be embarrassing for Arsenal.

Podolski’s wish for Leicester to win the championship instead of Tottenham will be shared by all Arsenal fans.
