Jonatan Johansson has told The Scottish Sun that he has been impressed with the progress made by Rangers winger Barrie McKay this season.
McKay, who has been on the books of Rangers his entire professional career so far, has been in superb form this campaign.
The Scotland Under-21 international is one of the best young players in Scotland and has established himself in Mark Warburton’s starting lineup at Ibrox.
Former Rangers striker Johansson has been impressed with McKay’s performances this season and has spoken highly of the youngster.
“It’s been great to see his progress,” the former Finland international striker told The Scottish Sun about McKay. “He’s really turned his career around.
“It shows what happens when you get belief and have the support from the manager. He makes some really good decisions now and he is good at keeping the ball.”
Rangers have already won the Scottish Championship title this season and have gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers have also clinched the Scottish Challenge Cup and have progressed to the final of the Scottish Cup.
The Glasgow giants will take on Hibernian in the final of the Scottish Cup, and the players will be determined to win it in order to complete a fantastic treble.
Rangers will take on Livingston away from home in the Scottish Championship on Tuesday evening.
