Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he wants Newcastle United to remain in the Premier League next season.
Frimpong made the comment on Twitter during the closing stages of the Premier League game between Liverpool and Newcastle at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with the Reds and maintain their chances of survival in the English top flight.
Frimpong, who started his professional club football career at Arsenal and is now on the books of Russian Premier League outfit FC Ufa, has revealed on Twitter that he wants Rafael Benitez’s side to stay up.

The way Newcastle staged a comeback against Liverpool in the second half was encouraging, but the Magpies still remain in the bottom three.
Benitez’s side have played one more game than Norwich and Sunderland, and it looks likely that they would go down to the Championship.
The Magpies will return to action next weekend when they take on Crystal Palace at St. James’ Park in the Premier League.
