The Magpies boss has been discussing the German manager.
Newcastle United head coach Rafael Benitez has heaped praise on Jurgen Klopp - who will be looking to follow in Benitez's footsteps at Liverpool in terms of winning some silverware, according to the Chronicle.
And Benitez feels the German is a 'lovely person' who the players and fans can both enjoy.
The Spaniard is quoted as saying by the Chronicle: "Hopefully it will be the same and we see Liverpool go in the right direction. He’s a manager who’s got great experience and is a lovely person, someone who the players and the fans will enjoy.
"Hopefully he can be successful and do well."
Klopp has certainly made a huge impact at Anfield since his arrival. The only things the Liverpool boss will want to work on, of course, are his side's game management and ability to defend when the game opens up.
Under Klopp, the Reds' defence has remained leaky - less so than under Brendan Rodgers but still to a considerable degree. And the 2-2 draw against Newcastle was an example of Liverpool letting things slip. Against Southampton earlier this season, the Anfield outfit let a two-goal lead slip to lose 3-2 - and no one would have been more frustrated than Klopp himself.
Still, things are very much looking up on Merseyside under the German. Can he bring some silverware to the table?
