The 22-year-old has been in sensational form for the League Two side this season.
Along with teammate Matt Crooks, the 22-year-old has agreed a pre-contract deal at Ibrox, The Scottish Sun reports, and he showed why Mark Warburton was so desperate to sign him as he scored two goals on Saturday, including a stunning volley from the edge of the area.
And Coleman suggested that that strike in particular showed that the League Two side were getting the rough end of the deal regarding the player's move.
"It was a fantastic finish from Josh - that's what he's got," he told The Scottish Sun.
"That's why we're going to get very, very underpaid for him at the end of the season."
While those at Accrington are annoyed that their talisman is leaving in the summer - understandably, given the impact that he has had since emerging onto the scene - Rangers fans will be delighted to see another moment of brilliance from the youngster.
The two goals took his tally for the season to 16, which is hugely impressive for someone playing in midfield. And while his first goal will take the headlines, his second goal showed a tremendous amount of composure.
And with Mark Warburton starting to turn his attention to working out how the Light Blues are going to thrive in the Scottish Premiership next season, he will be very pleased to see Windass producing such quality once again.
