The Spurs midfielder is wanted by PSG, according to reports.
The 21-year-old has managed 12 appearances for the club in all competitions following an injury-ravaged campaign which has seen him spend lengthy spells on the sidelines for ankle and knee problems.
The Algeria international, who is currently out injured after undergoing knee surgery in March, is out of contract in 2020 after signing a new five-year deal last summer to suggest that he is indeed in manager Mauricio Pochettino's plans.
But Culture PSG report that Bentaleb, who emerged as a prominent player under Tim Sherwood at White Hart Lane, is "at odds" with the Argentine manager, suggesting that the Ligue 1 champions are monitoring his situation in North London.
The report goes on to claim that various other Champions League clubs may also be interested in the Algerian, who has started five games in all competitions this season.
Even when he has been fit, Bentaleb has looked nowhere near Spurs' best XI, with the formidable Eric Dier successfully rendering him a mere spectator during his healthy spells.
