Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Andros Townsend against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
Townsend started the Premier League game for Newcastle away from home at Anfield and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The England international winger took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 73%, put in five crosses, attempted nine dribbles, won 22% of his tackles, and made three clearances and two blocks.
The 24-year-old, who joined Newcastle from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, has been playing well for the Magpies in recent weeks.
Townsend has scored three goals and created 21 chances in 10 league matches for Newcastle so far this season.
The Englishman has a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 83%, and has won 17 dribbles and 16 tackles.
Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Townsend’s performance against Liverpool in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
