Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Simon Mignolet’s performance against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
Mignolet started the Premier League game for Liverpool against Newcastle at home and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The Reds appeared to be cruising to a comfortable win at Anfield when they went 2-0 up after just 30 minutes, but the Magpies staged a stunning comeback in the second half and scored twice to play out a 2-2 draw.
Mignolet played a key role in Newcastle’s comeback, as it was the 28-year-old goalkeeper who pretty much gifted Rafael Benitez’s side their first goal.
The Belgium international rushed out and missed Andros Townsend's cross to allow Papiss Cisse to score in the 48th minute.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper’s mistake against Newcastle means that no player in the Premier League has made more errors leading to goals this season than him (four).
Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Mignolet against Newcastle.

Mignolet reminds me of a pal when I was a child and we were short of players so we put him in goals because he was diabolical outfield #LFC— LFC-TM (@Its_all_left) April 24, 2016
