Confirmed: Sunderland and Arsenal line-ups

Here is how Sunderland and Arsenal will line up this weekend:

Sunderland welcome Arsenal to the Stadium of Light this afternoon in what is a vital Premier League game for both sides.

The Black Cats are fighting for every single point in their bid to avoid relegation while the Gunners will know they have not yet secured a top-four finish – and the subsequent Champions League qualification – with Manchester United breathing down their necks.

Sunderland are currently 18th in the table, level on points with Newcastle United but with two games in hand over their fierce rivals.

Sam Allardyce’s side have played one game less than 17th-placed Norwich City and a win for Sunderland will see them climb out of the bottom three.

As for Arsenal, they are fourth in the table as things stand, four points clear of United but with work still to do.

With just one win in their last 24 league games against Arsenal, Sunderland will know this is a very tough encounter. However, they have been in the kind of form that could see them take all three points this afternoon if things go their way.
