Confirmed: Celtic lineup v Ross County: Patrick Roberts starts

Celtic will take on Ross County at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Celtic will be looking to return to winning ways this afternoon when they take on Ross County at home in the Scottish Premiership.

The Bhoys will head into the game at Celtic Park on the back of a defeat to Old Firm rivals Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

The Hoops are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 76 points from 33 matches. Celtic are eight points clear of second-placed Aberdeen, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, County currently find themselves sixth in the Scottish Premiership table with 43 points from 33 matches.

Ronny Deila’s side should be able to win this afternoon with relative ease, although they must not get complacent.

It will also be interesting to see how the Celtic players react to the defeat to Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow last weekend.

This is how Celtic will line up against County at Celtic Park this afternoon:

Celtic XI: Gordon; Lustig, Sviatchenko, Mulgrew, Tierney; Brown, Bitton, Roberts, Rogic, Kazim-Richards; Griffiths

Subs: Bailly, Ambrose, McGregor, Armstrong, Christie, Commons, Mackay-Steven
