Kevin de Bruyne denies being a Prince Harry lookalike

The Manchester City playmaker was responding to questions from fans on the club’s media channel.

Kevin de Bruyne responded unfavourably to being compared to royalty, looking sheepish before stating he "did not want" to be a lookalike to Prince Harry.

The former Wolfsburg attacking midfielder was answering a series of bizarre questions for Manchester City’s YouTube channel, including the name of his cat, how to pronounce his name and being stuck in a changing room with his team-mates for a full day.

The 24-year-old has become an instant hit at the Etihad Stadium following his big-money move from the Bundesliga last summer, scoring 16 goals and providing 9 assists in all competitions.

The Belgian attacker returned to the Premier League for a fee of £55 million after leaving Chelsea for Wolfsburg on a permanent deal ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.

De Bruyne spoke freely on almost any topic but picked up the City interviewer after she stated the similarity with Prince Harry, before confessing: "It's difficult to say, maybe a little bit."
