Ray Parlour predicts FA Cup semi-final ties

Everton will face Manchester United on Saturday evening, while Crystal Palace will take on Watford on Sunday.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour said on the Alan Brazil Upfront podcast on Audioboom that Manchester United and Crystal Palace will progress to the final of the FA Cup this season.

United will take on Premier League rivals Everton at the Wembley Stadium in London in the semi-finals of the prestigious competition on Saturday evening.

Then on Sunday evening, Palace will face Watford at the same venue in the other semi-final tie.

Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour has predicted United and Palace to go through to the final of the FA Cup.

“I have got Man United to win against Everton,” said the former England international on the Alan Brazil Upfront podcast on Audioboom. “I am going to go with Palace.”

Everton v Manchester United

United will head into the game as favourites, as they are in better form and also have better players.

Everton were hammered 4-0 by Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

The Toffees’ performances and results this season have been disappointing, but they do have the quality to get the better of the Red Devils.

Crystal Palace v Watford

This is a hard game to call and could go either way. Watford are having a better season than Palace and will fancy their chances against the Eagles.

The first goal will be key in this match. It is hard to see too many goals in this encounter, and there is a good chance that one will be enough to separate these two sides at the end of 90 minutes.
