The Blues are revelling in Villa's demise.

Aston Villa’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed last weekend and in the week following their drop to the second-tier things have not improved.

There has been the suspension of Gabriel Agbonlahor, the controversy of Jores Okore and the departure of David Bernstein and Meryn King from the football board.

Not exactly a good week.

But whilst Villa fans are bleak their local rivals Birmingham City appear to be revelling in their struggles.

A picture has emerged on social media of an Aston Villa styled coffin that will be taken to the game between Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town today.

The picture, from BCFCFansAndLegends, shows the effort that has gone in to the stunt, which will no doubt anger many a Villa fan:

However, many will just see the funny side of it.

Villa fans have themselves had to get used to self-depreciation this season and some will take the dig in good jest.

With the two teams now all set to face each other in the Championship next season, the rivalry can be settled on the pitch.
