Nolberto Solano and Peter Lovenkrands react on Twitter to Newcastle comeback

Newcastle United played out a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Nolberto Solano and Peter Lovenkrands have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Newcastle United’s stunning comeback against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle came from two goals down to play out a 2-2 draw with Liverpool away from home in the Premier League.

Daniel Sturridge put the Reds in the lead at Anfield after just two minutes, and Adam Lallana doubled the home team’s advantage on the half-hour mark.

Papiss Cisse halved the deficit for Newcastle just three minutes into the second half, and Jack Colback scored the equaliser midway through the second half.

Former Newcastle stars Solano and Lovenkrands have taken to Twitter to praise the way Rafael Benitez’s side staged a comeback at Anfield.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, Newcastle had just 33% of the possession, took six shots of which three were on target, and earned four corners.

The Magpies are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 30 points from 35 matches.
