United got the better of Premier League rivals Everton 2-1 in the semi-finals of the prestigious cup competition on Saturday evening.
Marouane Fellaini put the Red Devils in the lead on 34 minutes at the Wembley Stadium in London, but Chris Smalling scored own goal in the 75th minute to make it 1-1.
Anthony Martial scored the winner for Louis van Gaal’s side in the third minute of injury time.
Former Everton striker Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result, while ex-United defender Rio Ferdinand has praised striker Martial and goalkeeper David de Gea, who brilliantly saved Romelu Lukaku's 57th-minute penalty.

United had 55% of the possession, took 22 shots of which only seven were on target, and earned seven corners.
