Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Tino-Sven Susic from Hajduk Split in the summer transfer window.

Celtic are interested in signing Tino-Sven Susic from Hajduk Split in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Celtic’s European scout, Phillippe Pelluault, watched the attacking midfielder in action against NK Lokomotiva this week.

According to the report, the Scottish Premiership giants would have to pay around £2.5 million as transfer fee in order to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina star in the summer.

Susic is a talented and very creative midfielder who has been on the books of Croatian side Hajduk his entire professional career so far.

It seems that Celtic have identified the 24-year-old as a player who would enhance the quality of the team during the 2016-17 campaign.

There will be a new manager in charge of the Bhoys next season, as current boss Ronny Deila will leave Celtic Park at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 76 points from 33 matches, eight points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.

The Bhoys will take on Ross County at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
