Predicted Sunderland line-up to play Arsenal: Strong side from Allardyce

Sunderland Stadium of Light

Here is how we predict Sunderland and Arsenal will line up this weekend:

To be played on Sunday 24th April 2016 at 13:05. Venue: Stadium of Light, Sunderland

Odds: Sunderland 10/3, Draw 11/4, Arsenal 4/5

Sunderland welcome Arsenal to the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon with the Black Cats seeking the points that will help them in their fight against relegation.

Sam Allardyce’s side will be in high spirits after overcoming Norwich City last time out but there is still plenty to be done to ensure their top-flight status next season.

As things stand Sunderland are 18th in the table, one point behind the Canaries having played a game less, and three points against Arsenal would be a massive boost.

That said, Arsenal have ambitions of their own, with a Champions League place for next season not yet secured as Manchester United are breathing down their neck.

In early team news, Sunderland have everyone available which is just what Allardyce needs at such a tough time in the season.

As for Arsenal, their manager Arsene Wenger may be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere while Mathieu Flamini is a minor doubt but should be available if called upon.
